Magic squares are one of the oldest known mathematical problems. Chinese mathematicians discovered them more than 2500 years ago. Formally, a magic square is a square made up of successive integers, where every row, column and diagonal adds up to the same sum.
While constructing a magic square from scratch is a very difficult problem, we've made is slightly easier in TLS Brain Training. Our magic squares have some of the numbers already filled in, and all you have to do is fill in the remaining numbers from the tiles available. Be careful though: if you make a mistake, you might have to unpick all the numbers you've put in. Remember that you're playing against the clock, so think fast!
